Product Description

Our partnership with AIS Gauging allows us to offer groundbreaking X-RayTEK sensors, designed for contactless and scanning measurements of weight, thickness, coat weight, or material composition on moving webs or strips. These sensors come in two variants. One is for reflection measurement and the other is for transmission measurement of products. These ensure precise measurements using the X-ray absorption properties of the material for accuracy and high resolution across a broad product spectrum.

The modular design of X-RayTEK features a stable, high-flux, and low-noise X-ray source. This is digitally adaptable within the 5 to 160 keV range. It is also tailored to the material being examined. With a voltage precision of ±2.0 V at 30 keV, measurement stability is maintained. The low-power operation of the X-ray tube eliminates the need for external cooling systems, extending its operational lifespan.

AIS Gauging introduces an innovative calibration algorithm that seamlessly incorporates new products. This improves controls and Return on Investment (ROI). With exceptional accuracy and rapid measurement response of under 10 msec, X-RayTEK supports swift scanning for meticulous MD and CD control. This accelerates startups and enhances quality change processes. Through AIS Gauging's GaugeVIEW™, users gain access to streak detection with remarkable precision and an Infra-Temp system that actively monitors temperature, ensuring high accuracy in dynamic operating conditions.
